In his time in medical school, his extracurricular interests have included leading the Queen’s Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Interest Group, staying active by playing basketball, flag football, running weightlifting, and hiking. He is not ashamed to admit he is an avid Pokémon Go player and loves to go on long walks playing the game and listening to audiobooks; his favourites are those written and narrated by Malcolm Gladwell.

As a student researcher, Ethan will be working on multiple projects conducted at the South Health Campus, including assessing risk factors for non-unions of scaphoid fracture surgical fixations.
